Our Story Since 1978

Back in November 1978, Chile Willie and Esther Villegas opened a small family restaurant in Hatch, NM. What began as a simple burrito shop has grown into the longest-standing café in the Hatch Valley a place where family, friends, and tradition come together over great food.

We’ve raised our three kids and ten grandkids here, and we’re still cooking with the same love and Hatch chile that started it all. From our family to yours thank you for being part of our journey.

I had heard good things about this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and quick. Food arrived hot. I tried the enchiladas and the red sauce was excellent. Very tasty, highly recommend.

Enjoyed delicious green corn tamales. They were different than I am used to since they have shredded potatoes but that didn't diminish the taste. Will definitely visit again when in Hatch.

Always great food at a reasonable price. Love this place!
